Harrow Youth Service

From January 2026, AoD Youth Service will begin delivering a five-year after-school programme across two school sites in the London Borough of Harrow. These new projects are a collaboration between Harrow Short Breaks Service, Young Harrow Foundation, John Lyons Charity, and Action on Disability.

The after-school provision will take place at Kingsley High School and Shaftesbury High School. Our aim is to offer Disabled young people a youth service that supports them to grow, develop skills, and thrive as equal members of their communities. The programme will focus on building knowledge, confidence, attitudes, and behaviours that encourage personal and social development.

Over the next few months, we will confirm further details, including how Disabled young people in Harrow can access the provision. Across the five years, AoD Youth Service will also work to expand the offer to include holiday provision and opportunities to take part in the DofE (Duke of Edinburgh) Award scheme.

A group of people are playing musical instruments, including a keyboard and guitar, in a music rehearsal room with chairs and audio equipment.
