Who We Are

Founded in 1979, Action on Disability is a Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisation (DDPO) based in Hammersmith & Fulham, proudly led by Disabled people. Each year, we support over 4,500 Deaf and Disabled people across West London.

We believe people are disabled by barriers in society, not by their impairments. That’s why we challenge discrimination, remove barriers, and campaign for change.

Our vision is a society that is inclusive and accessible, where Deaf and Disabled people have equal rights, independence, and real choice and control over their lives.

Join us in ensuring Deaf and Disabled people can enjoy greater independence, control, and choice in their lives.
