Co-production and Disability Equality Training

This free course is open to all Disabled people who live, work, volunteer, or study in Hammersmith & Fulham. It’s designed to build understanding, confidence, and skills to take part in local decision-making and shape positive change.

Want to help make your borough a better place for Disabled people to live, work, and take part in community life?

If so, please contact us using the online request form below. We will then provide a cost proposal for our Co-production and Disability Equality Training. The course includes one full-day session followed by five three-hour sessions, with a maximum of 15 participants per group.

Rooted in the Social Model of Disability and the principles of independent living, this interactive course explores:

  • The history and impact of disability activism
  • Principles and practices of co-production
  • Different perspectives on disability and equality
  • Opportunities for local influence and change
  • Disability politics and community leadership
  • The role of DDPOs in genuine partnership work

You’ll leave with a stronger understanding of how to challenge barriers, promote inclusion, and work alongside others to create change that matters.

If you’re based outside Hammersmith & Fulham, this training can also be commissioned. A cost proposal and course outline are available on request.
