Our Voice – Campaign Partners

AoD collaborates with national and regional DDPOs because collective action is essential for removing systemic barriers and strengthening the voice of Disabled people. Working together helps us influence policy, protect rights, and drive lasting change locally and nationally.

    Inclusion London

    Action on Disability is a proud member of Inclusion London, which works with more than 70 organisations across every London borough to promote equality and inclusion for Deaf and Disabled people. 

     We contributed to the Mayor of London Election Manifesto 2024, which called on Mayoral candidates to actively champion equality and inclusion for Deaf and Disabled Londoners. Read the Mayor of London Election Manifesto 2024

    Disability Rights UK

    Action on Disability is a member of Disability Rights UK, the national organisation led by and for Disabled people, seeking better rights, accessibility, benefits, quality of life and economic opportunities for Disabled people.

    AoD is proud that DRUK is currently led by our former CEO following his 12 years’ service to AoD from 2005 to 2017.

    DPO Forum England

    Our CEO is a member of the DPO Forum England steering group, an independent nationwide forum of Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations (DDPOs).  

    Through this forum, we meet regularly with the Minister for Disabled People. Under the Forum’s banner, we added our voice to the Disabled People’s Manifesto 2024, which was presented to Sir Keir Starmer, calling on the Prime Minister to commit to policies that create a more equal and just society.     Action on Disability supports Transport for All, a national Disabled-led group breaking down barriers and transforming system.
